"The room has never looked this good before" were the words of Pierre
Landaiche, General Manager of the Memphis Cook Convention Center as decorated
by IAEG on behalf of Heartbeat Productions for the ServiceMaster Clean - Furniture Medic International
Convention

IAEG in association with Heartbeat Productions designed, built and supervised
the installation of over 40 oversized pieces of flame retardant stretch Lycra
in the cavernous West Hall of the Memphis Cook Convention Center creating an
"intimate" convocation / banquet space for the 1,200 attendees at the
convention.
Over a mile of cord, 80 miniature pulleys and an inventive system of elevated
"ground" rigging points brought the huge room down to a more human scale
without a spider web like maze of cordage. All points stretching the Lycra
to lower points were ingeniously created 8 feet above ground level and hidden
in the palm decor brought into the room. Fire Marshals and food service
personnel all were pleased with the clear access to the room although the
visual size of the vast hall had been reduced by almost a third.
